2021 Fort Lupton Cemetery Walk Volunteers Needed!
The Historic Preservation Board will be holding a cemetery walk on September 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery. We need volunteers to reenact historic figures from Fort Lupton’s history, such as past city leaders, farmers, pioneers and soldiers. An exciting change this year is that the event will be held during the 2021 Trapper Days Festival and be included as a shuttle stop.
For ideas on possible historic figures to consider, please contact Alyssa Knutson at 303.857.6694 or aknutson@fortluptonco.gov. Generally, reenactments are of those buried at Hillside Cemetery, however if there are other notable past figures from the City’s history you would like to represent, please feel free to do so!
