The Fort Lupton Historic Preservation Board is excited to announce that in March 2019 it was awarded a $21,000 no match grant through the Certified Local Government Subgrant Program! Through the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, History Colorado administers the U.S. Department of Interior’s Historic Preservation Fund Program in cooperation with the National Park Service, an office of the U.S. Department of Interior.
The grant will allow the Historic Preservation Board to complete Phase II of its survey (or study) of historic residences within the City of Fort Lupton. (Phase I can be found HERE). Phase II of the Historic Residential Survey will focus on residences along a portion of S. Park Avenue and S. Denver Avenue in the Reynolds Addition and Reynolds Second Addition, as shown on the map below located at Historic Residential Survey.
