  • Clean-up Month September: The city of Fort Lupton has changed our 2020 Clean-Up Day to a voucher program. Residents within city limits will receive a voucher for ONE FREE drop off to the landfill ($171 value) for the month of September.   • Scarecrow Competition: This October, the City of Fort Lupton, Historic Preservation Board, and Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce the first-ever Fort Lupton Scarecrow competition. September 2020 Newsletter

We are so happy to continue to serve our community as we continue to reopen! Thank you for your understanding and patience as we have been working through our re-opening procedures. Please know your health and safety is our top priority.

Quick Links:

General Information: 

  • Reserving Your Workout Time: Guests MUST RESERVE their time online to use the facility. Health questions will be asked during your reservation request. Click here to reserve your gym time. Temperature checks will be completed upon entry and due to Governor Polis’ order, masks are required to enter the facility.  We also ask guests to social distance themselves and to bring their own water bottle. Drinking fountains are closed except for bottle stations.
  • General Public Hours of Operation: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 5 am-8 pm. Tuesday & Thursday 7 am-8 pm and Saturdays from 8 am-4 pm.
    1. SPECIAL HOURS: On Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-7:15 am, the rec center will be reserved for seniors, those that are pregnant, or have underlying medical conditions. To reserve your spot in this timeframe, please call 720-466-6160.
  • Age Restrictions: Normal age restrictions continue to apply. 6 years and under must have direct supervision by someone 12 years and older. 7 years to 9 years may use the facility with someone 12 years and over in the facility.  10 years and over may use the facility without supervision.  13-14 years may use the weight room with direct supervision of a parent.  15 years and older may use the weight room alone.  ALL USERS OF THE REC CENTER MUST HAVE A RESERVATION.
  • Gymnasium Information: The gym will be reserved for youth basketball camp in the mornings and be available for reservation in the afternoon. We ask all users of the gym to please bring their own ball or equipment at this time.  Pickleball courts are available by reservation in the mornings.  Volleyball/Basketball is available by reservation in the afternoons.   
  • Rentals: Rooms can be rented at a 50% capacity or a max size of 50 people depending on the space being rented. Groups will be required to social distance.  We are still not accepting shelter rentals, but they are open on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Swimming Pool: Mornings will be reserved for lap swim & water walking, and water fitness. The afternoons will now be available for reserved & limited open swim with a maximum of 25 people utilizing the space at one time.    You must reserve your time online. We are asking pool users to please come dressed in their swimming suit.  Locker Room use is limited due to social distancing standards. The fee is either a daily admission or a membership. Private Pool Rentals are still available on Saturday mornings.  These will be a charge at $50 for each group. Max group size of 12. You can also click here to check out our modified swim lessons schedule.
  • Continued Closures: The teen room and drop-in childcare will not be available at this time.
  • Drop in Child Care is now available as a registration.  Drop-Ins will not be accepted.  The fee is $9/ week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) or $6/week (Tuesday, Thursday).  8:45am – 11am.

4th of July Independence Day Fireworks Display:

The City of Fort Lupton has been working diligently to provide our community with a way to continue celebrating Independence Day during COVID-19. We are COMMITTED to continuing with our annual fireworks show pending any weather interruptions. Fireworks will be launched at dusk near the Fort Lupton recreation center. Please enjoy the fireworks drive-in style from your car. Please consider homeowners and businesses when parking to watch the fireworks. Do not block any entrances or exits.

July 2020 Notification: 

We are so happy to be back open and serving our community! Thank you for your understanding and patience as we have been working through our re-opening procedures. Please know your health and safety is our top priority.


General Information: 

  • Safety Information: Guests MUST RESERVE their time online to use the facility. Health questions will be asked during your reservation request. Click here to reserve your gym time. Temperature checks will be completed upon entry and masks are recommended to enter the facility. We also ask guests to social distance themselves and to bring their own water bottle. Drinking fountains are closed except for bottle stations.
  • General Public Hours of Operation: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 5 am-8 pm. Tuesday & Thursday 7 am-8 pm and Saturdays from 8 am-4 pm.
  • SPECIAL HOURS: On Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-7:15 am, the rec center will be reserved for seniors, those that are pregnant, or have underlying medical conditions. To reserve your spot in this timeframe, please call 720-466-6160.
  • Age Restrictions: Normal age restrictions continue to apply. 6 years and under must have direct supervision by someone 12 years and older. 7 years to 9 years may use the facility with someone 12 years and over in the facility. 10 years and over may use the facility without supervision. 13-14 years may use the weight room with direct supervision of a parent. 15 years and older may use the weight room alone.  ALL USERS OF THE REC CENTER MUST HAVE A RESERVATION.
  • Gymnasium Information: The gym will be reserved for youth basketball camp in the mornings and be available for reservation in the afternoon. We ask all users of the gym to please bring their own ball or equipment at this time.
  • Rentals: Rooms can be rented at a 50% capacity or a max size of 50 people depending on the space being rented. Groups will be required to social distance.  We are still not accepting shelter rentals, but they are open on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Swimming Pool: Mornings will be reserved for lap swim & water walking. The afternoons will now be available for reserved & limited open swim with a maximum of 25 people utilizing the space at one time.   You must reserve your time online. We are asking pool users to please come dressed in their swimming suit. Locker Room use is limited due to social distancing standards. The fee is either a daily admission or a membership. Private Pool Rentals are still available on Saturday mornings.  These will be a charge at $50 for each group. Max group size of 12.   • Continued Closures: The teen room and drop-in childcare will not be available at this time.
