Court & Traffic Payments
PENALTY ASSESSMENT: You may pay your citation without coming to court if you have received a Penalty Assessment. To determine eligiblity, a payable amount will be listed on the citation. PAYMENT IN FULL can be made to the court prior to the court date indicated on your citation. Partial payments are not accepted.
By paying the fine instead of appearing in court, you are entering a plea of guilty to the violation(s) charged. Paying eligible citations prior to your court date may reduce the points assessed against your driving privilege and you also avoid additional costs. If you do not wish to plead guilty, do not pay the citation and appear in court on the arraignment date listed on your citation.
Payment may be made in person or by mail to 130 S McKinley Avenue, Fort Lupton CO 80621. Debit or credit card payment may be made over the phone by calling 720.466.6105. Acceptable forms of payment for fines and fees are cash, check, money order or debit/credit cards. Online payments are not accepted at this time. Do not send cash in the mail.
TRAFFIC OFFENSES, CRIMINAL OR CODE OFFENSES: Your citation is marked as "SUM" or has no dollar amount listed. You MUST appear in the Municipal Court on your arraignment date. Once penalties are assessed by the court, you may make payments in person, by mail or over the phone.
**The Court expects you to pay all fines and court costs on the day of your guilty or no contest plea. If you do not pay in full on the day of your guilty or no contest
plea, you will receive another court date to appear. If you have not paid off your overdue payments by that next court date, and you do not appear on that review date to see the Judge regarding your overdue payments, a hold may be placed on your ability to drive and a warrant may issue and you could spend time in jail.**
Parking citations should be paid within 20 days of issuance. A late charge is added after 20 days. Payment may be made in person or by mail to 130 S McKinley Avenue, Fort Lupton CO 80621. Debit or credit card payment may be made over the phone by calling 720.466.6105. Unpaid parking citations or an accumulation of unpaid parking citations could result in towing of the vehicle, the issuance of a summons and complaint, or referral to a collections agency.
To dispute a parking citation, please contact the Municipal Court at 720.466.6105 to schedule a court appearance.
