Legacy Dance
Legacy School of Dance, LLC and its owners have provided quality dance instruction to families in Colorado for over 10 years. Each class has a set curriculum that is taught over the course of the school year, beginning in September and ending in late spring. The instructor assess student growth by specified standards set up for each level. Classical and age appropriate music is used to foster and encourage creativity. The year culminates with a full-scale recital in the spring to show case what each has learned!
Classes
Toddlers & Tutus: Students will love dancing to their favorite music in this fun class that incorporates pre-ballet steps as well as imaginative dance. Students only, no parents in the room.
Age: 22 months -3 years old, Max. 8 students.
Level 1: This class incorporates ballet and tap each week, focusing on technique, rhythm, and expressive movements.
Ages: 3 years - 5 years old, Max. 12 students
Level 2: Ballet and tap are incorporated each week with the focus on longer and gradually more difficult combinations to challenge the child in technique, concentration, balance, and movement. Ages: 5 years - 7 years old, Max. 12 students.
Pre-Teen Combo: This is the perfect class for older students just starting out in dance or those looking to further their skills. Beginning ballet and tap are incorporated each week with a focus on learning combinations and choreography (Instructor recommendation required) Ages: 8+ Max. 16 students.
Dance Class Attire:
Visit www.legacydancecolorado.com/attire for pictures and details on required leotards, tights, and shoes. *Hair for all classes must be secured back in a ponytail, bun or braid. Short hair can be pulled away from face with barrettes or clips.
*Please purchase dancewear through Legacy Dance or through a professional dance store. Shoes from target, walmart, or payless are unacceptable for classes.
What we teach:
We believe that all dance families should receive quality instruction for the fees they pay. Each class has a set curriculum that is taught over the course of the year. The instructors assess student growth by specified standards set up for each Level. Students will enjoy learning dance technique taught in a fun and accepting atmosphere. Classical and child‐appropriate music will always be used to foster learning and encourage creativity.
Showcase:
Legacy School of Dance treats dance families to a very professional showcase performance each spring. Tickets will go on sale in April. Come out and support your community!

15 years and up may use the weight room. 13 - 14 years can use the weight room with direct supervision of adult. 10 years and over can use the facility without supervision. 7 - 9 years may use the facility with someone 12 years and over in the facility. 6 years and under can use the facility under direct supervision of someone 12 years and over.
