Planning & Building

The Planning & Building Department administers the City of Fort Lupton’s land use and development functions. The Department also guides ongoing development and redevelopment activities by recruiting new investments and working to integrate new development projects into the existing fabric of the City. By coordinating land development-related activities, the Department is working to achieve Fort Lupton’s goals of attracting and retaining quality businesses and improving its image as a desirable place to live and work. Our intent is to maintain and improve our citizens’ quality of life, protect the environment, and plan for the future needs of the community. Our highly trained employees deliver services in a professional and respectful manner to maintain and improve the quality of life for our residents.
